Despite the 10 megapixel resolution, the image quality is exceptional. The sharpening of the picture can be adjusted either in the camera or in the Photoshop after transfer. The exposure speed can be adjusted from the default speed of 30- seconds, using Bulb mode, which is essential for night photography.
For the new users, there may be some confusion about the buttons, but the guide menu option provided helps in solving these confusions. The Nikon digital camera is not provided with Live-view feature and video recording as in any other entry level camera.
It can be concluded that Nikon D3000 is the best entry model camera for professional photography and is worth the price tag it comes with. If there is little improvement in this like option for video recording and live-view, this will be an exception product from Nikon.
